Gndsoft LLC ("Gndsoft," "we," "our," or "us") provides AcuBeat. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use AcuBeat on Android, Wear OS, iOS, or watchOS, where those versions are available (collectively, the "App").
When you choose the AI BPM analysis feature, you select an audio file from your device. The App sends that file over an encrypted connection to our tempo-analysis service so it can calculate and return a BPM result. AcuBeat does not access your microphone for this feature in the current release.
We use submitted audio only to provide the requested analysis. We do not use it to train AI models, build advertising profiles, or sell it. We retain it only as long as reasonably necessary to process the request, maintain security, troubleshoot failures, or comply with law.
The service may automatically receive limited technical information such as IP address, request date and time, file size and type, and error information.
Song names, BPM settings, time signatures, subdivisions, accents, setlists, credit balance, purchase status, and preferences are stored locally. Gndsoft does not operate an AcuBeat account system and does not receive this local library as part of normal App use. Your platform provider may include local App data in a device or cloud backup, depending on your settings.
We may use Firebase Analytics to understand App usage and improve reliability. Depending on platform settings and configuration, this may include App interactions, App and device information, coarse location inferred from IP address, and app-instance or device identifiers.
Free versions may use Google AdMob. Google and its advertising partners may process device or advertising identifiers, IP-derived coarse location, ad interactions, and technical device information to deliver, secure, and measure ads. Google Play or Apple processes purchases. We do not receive full payment-card details, but the App may receive product, transaction, purchase-status, and entitlement information needed to complete or restore purchases and prevent fraud.
We may provide information to service providers that process it for the purposes described above, including:
These providers handle information under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell uploaded audio or local library content.
When you use a supported wearable companion, tempo, meter, subdivision, accent, and playback state may be exchanged between your paired devices to provide controls and haptic feedback. This synchronization is used for App functionality and not for advertising.
Where required, AcuBeat will request consent before using information for personalized advertising. On iOS and iPadOS, the App will use Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission before accessing the advertising identifier or tracking activity across other companies' apps and websites. If permission is denied, core metronome and tempo-analysis features remain available, although ads may be less personalized.
You can change relevant choices through the App's privacy options and device settings. You choose whether to submit an audio file. You can delete songs and setlists in the App and remove remaining local data by clearing App storage or uninstalling. Device or cloud backups are controlled through your platform settings.
Uploaded audio is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for analysis, security, troubleshooting, or legal obligations. Local data remains until you delete it, clear App storage, or uninstall, subject to backups. Analytics, advertising, and store providers retain information according to their settings and policies.
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted network transport for analysis requests. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Providers may process information in countries other than where you live, subject to applicable safeguards and law.
AcuBeat is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child submitted personal information.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction or deletion of, or restriction or objection to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Because AcuBeat has no user accounts, we may be unable to identify analytics or advertising records as belonging to you without an identifier. Contact us to make a request; we may need information to verify and process it.
