1. Introduction

Gndsoft LLC ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our AcuMix mobile application.

2. Audio Upload & Stem Separation

AcuMix is an AI-powered stem separation application. To separate vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano, and other instruments from your audio files, the app uploads your selected audio files to our secure servers (https://api.acustudios.com) for processing.

Audio Data Commitment:

Uploaded audio files are processed securely and temporarily stored on our servers solely to perform the stem separation and chord analysis. The files are not shared with third parties and are automatically deleted after a brief period once processing and caching needs are completed.

3. Pseudonymous User Identifier

AcuMix creates a random, pseudonymous identifier on your device and sends it with analysis requests. It is not derived from your name, email address, phone number, or advertising ID. We use it only to operate the audio analysis service, apply service limits, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot requests. It is not sold or used for advertising.

4. Storage & Device Access

AcuMix uses the system file picker to let you choose an audio file and the system media APIs to save your custom mix. The Android app does not request broad storage or audio-library permission.

5. Third-Party Services (Analytics & Ads)

To ensure application stability, support development, and enable premium features, we integrate standard third-party services:

  • App Store (StoreKit) & Google Play Billing: Used for facilitating in-app purchases (e.g., ad removal, premium subscriptions).
  • Google Firebase / Crashlytics: Used to collect anonymous crash reports and minimal app usage statistics to help us fix bugs and improve the application.
  • Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements in the free version. AdMob may use device identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID) to serve personalized or non-personalized ads.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Uploaded audio and generated analysis files are retained only for the temporary processing and caching period described above and are then automatically deleted. To request deletion of associated server data sooner, contact [email protected] and include the relevant request details available to you.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
