2. Microphone Access (RECORD_AUDIO)

AcuTune requires access to your device's microphone (android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO) to function as an audio tuner.

Crucial Privacy Commitment:

All audio data is processed strictly locally and in real-time on your device. We do NOT record, save, store, transmit, upload, or share any of your audio data to our servers or any third-party services. The audio stream is immediately discarded from memory after the pitch is mathematically calculated.

3. Third-Party Services (Analytics & Ads)

To improve app stability and support our free version, we integrate standard third-party services:

  • Google Firebase / Crashlytics: Used to collect anonymous crash reports and minimal app usage statistics to help us fix bugs and improve the application.
  • Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements in the free version. AdMob may use device identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID) to serve personalized or non-personalized ads.
