1. Information We Handle

Apart from crash reports, we do not use third-party analytics in the App, and we do not sell personal information.

• Account: your email address, display name and profile photo from the sign-in method you choose (email and password, Google, Apple, or Kakao where available). With Apple "Hide My Email" we receive a relay address.
• Church and team membership: the churches and teams you create or join, your role and groups, and invite codes.
• Content you or your teammates add: setlists, songs, keys and song forms, lyrics, sheet music files and recognized chords, schedules, availability ("can't come" dates), serving assignments, announcements and who has read them, prayer requests and their visibility settings, video links, and podcast feeds.
• Optional profile details: your birthday, only if you enter it, with a setting that controls whether teammates see it.
• Device information for notifications: a push token, platform (Android or iOS) and the App's language.
• Advertising data on the free plan: see section 4.
• Technical logs kept by our infrastructure providers, such as IP address, request time and error information, used for security and troubleshooting.
• Crash reports: if the App crashes, Google Firebase Crashlytics sends technical details (device model, OS and App version, where the error happened) with a random installation identifier, so we can find and fix the problem. Crash reports do not include your name, email or the content you add, and are not used for advertising or tracking.

2. AI Features

When you ask the App to recognize chords or extract lyrics from sheet music, images of that sheet are sent over an encrypted connection to Anthropic's Claude API to perform the request. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, API inputs are not used to train Anthropic's models.

A church administrator may choose to share that church's leader-reviewed sheet music and corrected chords with Gndsoft to improve Selah's own chord-recognition model. This is off unless the church opts in, and it can be turned off at any time; data from churches that withdraw is removed from future training sets. Other church content (prayer requests, announcements, schedules, member information) is never used for training.

3. How We Use Information

• Provide the App: sign-in, sharing content within your church and team, realtime updates, reminders and push notifications (assignments, substitute requests, announcements, prayer requests, birthdays, new podcast episodes).
• Run AI features you request and track monthly AI credits for your church's plan.
• Show and measure ads on the free plan, and grant rewards for rewarded ads.
• Keep the service secure, prevent abuse, troubleshoot, and comply with law.

4. Advertising

Churches on the free plan see ads served by Google AdMob; paid and partner churches do not. Google and its partners may process device and advertising identifiers, IP-derived approximate location, ad interactions and technical device information to deliver, secure and measure ads. Where required (for example in the EEA, the UK and certain U.S. states) the App asks for your consent through Google's consent tools, and you can change your choice in More → Privacy choices. On iOS, the App does not request App Tracking Transparency permission and does not track you across other companies' apps.

If you watch a rewarded ad to earn an extra AI credit, Google sends our server a signed confirmation containing your user ID and team ID so the credit can be added to your church.

5. Who Can See Your Information

Content is shared with the members of the church or team you share it with, according to the App's permissions and visibility settings (for example, leaders-only prayer requests or anonymous posting). Your display name and photo are visible to members of churches you belong to.

We use service providers who process information on our behalf: Supabase (database, authentication and server functions, hosted in Seoul, South Korea), Cloudflare R2 (file storage), Anthropic (AI processing), Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications), Google Firebase Crashlytics (crash reports), Google AdMob (ads), Google, Apple and Kakao (sign-in), and YouTube (video playback). Purchases, when offered, are processed by Apple, Google or our payment processor; we do not receive full card details.

We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users, Gndsoft or others.

6. Retention and Deletion

We keep account and church data while your account or church is active. You can delete your account in the App (More → Delete account). This removes your profile, sign-in identities and device tokens. If you are the only owner of a church that has other members, you must transfer ownership first; churches where you are the only member are deleted with your account. Content you shared with a church may remain available to that church where it is part of the church's records, without your profile.

Sheet music and generated slide files are stored until they are deleted in the App. Logs kept by providers are retained according to their policies.

7. Security and International Transfers

We use encryption in transit, access controls enforced in the database, and other reasonable safeguards. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Our providers may process information in countries other than yours, including South Korea and the United States, with appropriate safeguards.

8. Children

Selah is intended for church worship teams and is not directed to children under 13 (under 14 in Korea). Younger team members should use the App only with a parent or guardian's consent. Contact us if you believe a child provided personal information without consent.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your information, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. You can edit your profile and delete your account in the App, or contact us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your request.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. We will change the date above and give additional notice in the App when the change is significant.
