ObraSnap Privacy Policy

ObraSnap is provided by Gndsoft LLC (“Gndsoft,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the ObraSnap mobile application.

1. Local-First Design

ObraSnap is designed as a local-first application.

You do not need to create an account to use ObraSnap.

Reports, project information, photos, annotations, notes, business profile information, and other report content created in ObraSnap are stored locally on your device.

ObraSnap does not require you to upload your report content to a Gndsoft account or cloud service in order to use the app.

2. Photos and Camera

ObraSnap may request access to your device camera and photo library when you choose to take or import photos.

These permissions are used to provide the photo documentation features you request.

Photos used in your reports remain part of the locally stored ObraSnap data unless you choose to export, share, or otherwise transmit them using features provided by your device.

3. Report and Business Information

Information you enter into ObraSnap, including report names, property or project information, areas, notes, issue information, status, priority, and optional business profile information, is used to create and organize your reports.

This information is stored locally on your device.

4. PDF Reports and Sharing

ObraSnap can generate PDF reports from information and photos stored in the app.

When you choose to export or share a PDF, the report is shared using the destination or service you select through the iOS sharing features.

Gndsoft does not control the privacy practices of third-party apps or services you choose to share information with.

5. Purchases

ObraSnap Pro is offered as a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase.

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store using Apple's StoreKit services.

Gndsoft does not receive or store your full payment card information.

Apple may process information relating to purchases according to Apple's own privacy policies and terms.

6. Support Communications

If you contact Gndsoft for support, we may receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message, screenshots, or other information you voluntarily send to us.

We use that information to respond to your request and provide support.

Do not send confidential report information or client information to support unless it is necessary for your support request.

7. Data Storage and Deletion

ObraSnap stores its app data locally on your device.

You may delete individual reports within the app.

Deleting a report permanently removes that report and its associated ObraSnap photo data from the app.

Deleting the ObraSnap application may also remove locally stored ObraSnap data from the device, subject to Apple's device backup and restore behavior.

Because ObraSnap is designed as a local-first application, Gndsoft generally cannot restore reports or photos that have been deleted from your device.

8. Third-Party Services

ObraSnap relies on Apple platform services where necessary to operate on iOS, including services related to app distribution and in-app purchases.

Third-party services are governed by their own privacy policies.

9. Children's Privacy

ObraSnap is a professional productivity application and is not directed to children under 13.

We do not knowingly design ObraSnap to collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Security

We design ObraSnap to minimize unnecessary transmission of report content by storing core report data locally on the user's device.

However, no device, software, or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Users are responsible for maintaining appropriate security for their device and for information they choose to export or share.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as ObraSnap changes.

When we make material changes, we may update the effective date shown at the top of this page.
