Getting Started & Basic Workflow

- Creating reports: Tap the + button to create a new report and choose your report type (Punch List, Property Documentation, or Before & After).
- Creating areas: Inside your report, add areas to organize your photos (e.g., "Kitchen", "Exterior").
- Capturing & Importing photos: Tap into an area to take new photos directly from your jobsite, or import existing photos from your iPhone.
- Marking up photos: Tap on any photo to add arrows, circles, freehand drawings, text, or to crop it.
- Adding notes: Add detailed field notes and observations to any documented item.
- Status and priority: In Punch Lists, track issues by marking them as Open, In Progress, or Complete. Add Low, Medium, or High priority if needed.
- PDF Preview: Tap the PDF icon to generate and preview your professional report.
- PDF export/sharing: ObraSnap Pro users can export, print, or share the generated PDF report via email, messages, or other apps.
Report Types
- Punch List: Document issues and track them through completion. Great for final walkthroughs.
- Property Documentation: Create neutral, organized photo records of a property or jobsite.

Where is my data stored?
Local device storage: ObraSnap is local-first. Reports and photos are stored directly on your iPhone.
Deleting reports: Because data is stored locally, deleting a report or uninstalling the app will permanently remove that data from your device. We highly recommend exporting your finished PDF reports to keep safe copies of your records.
